And sometimes people critically wonder what kind of 'literates' are Nigerian tertiary institutions churning-out every year. Not surprisingly, the so-called "first and the best" the University of Ibadan never seize to amaze with such high level of ignorance and unsociable character among its students, yet it enjoys a self-acclaimed tag.
Surfing through the official Students Union facebook page of University of Ibadan recently, A particular post caught my fancy, and have decided to share with the readers...
Post was by a guy student (to be revealed later) and it reads:
"18+ Only!!! Warning: This post is not for the fable in mind. If your mind does not carry it pls leave it in peace.
A woman has two pairs of lips.
One is horizontal, the other is vertical.
One is shaved while the other isn't.
One is covered while the other is exposed.
One is for her while the other is not.
If you've noticed any other differences pls add."
Now deducing the post, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with it because for anyone who could feel offended by reading the teaser, an headline of caution had already been highlighted before it's target information.
However to my surprise, some students particularly one female student among them got it twisted and was ranting how 'bad' and 'unethical' the post seemed.
Regrettably, the students opposing the view conveyed by the post are quite ignorant and seemed stupid for not recognizing the 'freedom of expression and opinion'. Moreso, there was a caution as headline for such set of students who could take it offensive that boldly conform to the ethics in writing.
But students would always act as students and gullible too, and there are thousands of thousands hyprocrites out there who enjoys reading & sharing of porn and sex related contents secretly but would come out in the open as 'saints' in-order not to be caught unguarded.
Girls nowadays are culprits to this act, and no doubt about it!
It's just a shameful assessment coming from supposed female students of the "first and the best" Nigerian university.

OMG you are so stupid to write this...I even thought you were wise enough to blame the writer of the ungodly post...all you could do was blame those who opposed it...you even went so far as to ridicule the university u=you finished from and made a fool out of yourself by posting a picture and a title that do not relate to the message content of your article...you are indeed a worthless nincompoop...and a disgrace to mankind. Now to the issue, it is not enough to post a caution heading "Please only read if you are 18 and above bla bla"...but ofcourse it has to be in the appropriate place. Can you go post such on Punch Newspaper or Tribune and say "afterall you put a Warning Caption" ? Can you go on your university press board to write about pornography with a Warning Title "only for the strong minds pls" ?? am sure by now you can see how foolish your post was...Go ahead and abuse the decent girls that reacted on facebook, simply because UI girls turned down your dirty sex request. Shame on you...fool
