If there is one that is all-inclusive…that gives virtually all…it is
certainly the habitat, where we dwell and swell with varieties. Part of
what makes life unique and adventurous is exploring the world of Music,
and it’s genres.
The best of moments come from getting the best of time.
The happier times are most experienced when viable opportunities are
analyzed in the mutual interests of all involved. However in the music
industry, it only got ONE RULE and you got to play by it, else it could
be gone in flashes!
Every continent has its desired predominant genre of music attributed
to such, but it’s crystal-clear that the HipHop genre is most favored
particularly among young people of the present generation.
More disturbing is the fact that more young minds are engaged in music
worldwide, and the immediate side effect they have got to deal with is
‘Insecurity’. The very many of them that had gone into the creative
career, have used such rate to pitch their tents with unreliable
potentials…potentials that are never real at first instance.
Young artistes are eager to hit it BIG in one of the biggest creative
platforms worldwide, but the pertinent problem remains the inadequacy
of Respect, Committment, Focus, Creative Genuinty. These are major
factors responsible for the high level of lay-offs and unsatisfactorily
business relationships among artistes, managers, record labels,
promoters in music business.
Ordinarily, there should be a more meaningful harmonization of resources
and potentials for music to grow; it could as well be achieved with
some level of Trust and Sincerity as well.
Tuface Idibia, Femi Kuti, 9ice, Banky W, Yinka Davies, Nas, late
Michael Jackson, Waje, Anita Baker, Diana Ross: these music icons have
just One thing in common – Genuinty! And that has made them relevant on
the music map. If only the younger artistes could learn from them,
probably it would feel more secured, and promising too.
