The national unanimous president NIGERIA never had - CHIEF M.K.O ABIOLA! - (middle in the photo)
He was allegedly poisoned to death by an attack masterminded by the Military rule led by the then Military president Gen. Badamosi Babangida after the 1993 elections.
Chief MKO Abiola contested under the political party of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and was widely believed to have won the mandate of virtually all Nigerian, devoid of ethnic or social differences, via votings.
Till date, the 1993 presidential elections is acclaimed the best ever democratic poll in the Nigerian history.
We can only hope for a more sincere platform to organize credible elections come 2015.
