Simple 5 REASONS NIGERIA WILL Win The 2014 World Cup!

Photo: Super Eagles Coach STEPHEN KESHI.

Yes you saw it very right. The Super Eagles of Nigeria, like every team that has qualified for the World Cup, has every tendency and chance to lift the biggest trophy in World football. And what better way to do it than to win this year's World Cup.

Like a true Nigerian I support the Super Eagles patriotically - because truth be told, the team cannot go past the second round challenge. It's just the truth.

However, you never know what the 'Spirit of NAIJA' could deliver at the time of need. CheckOut the 5 sarcastic reasons why Nigeria's Super Eagles are poised to win the 2014 World Cup:

* With 'calamity' Joseph Yobo at the heart of Super Eagles defence, opposition strikers would always smile - just like in the last friendly against the USA team;
* Mere stubborn attitude of team's coach Stephen Keshi could be a case of 'Pride before Fall' - failing to admit the team's current inadequacy due to players' injuries;
* A blunt attack without the likes of Ik Uche & Obinna Nsofor would eventually expose sentiments and personal vendetta attributed by the team's coach;
* The inadequacy in team spirit coupled-with ill feelings among players would be huge recipe for 'victory' again at the big stage;
* At-least four major players are battling for fitness at this moment of competition - a big PLUS from team's cohesion and depth.

As usual, so many calculators would again be utilized after the team's first game against Iran - solely to permutate and predict all sorts - calculating how many goals or points the Super Eagles could need just to survive the group stage.

It's been some kind of tradition for the Super Eagles to often activate the self-destructive button after their first opening games at the World Cup.
Simply don't expect anything different this time - the Nigerian team aren't just good enough to even qualify for the Quarter-finals of this year's World Cup in Brazil.
