More than 80% of breast cancer cases are discovered when the woman feels a lump. The earliest breast cancers are detected by a mammogram. Lumps found in lymph nodes located in the armpits can also indicate breast cancer. Indications of breast cancer other than a lump may include thickening different from the other breast tissue, one breast becoming larger or lower, a nipple changing position or shape or becoming inverted, skin puckering or dimpling, a rash on or around a nipple, discharge from nipple/s, constant pain in part of the breast or armpit, and swelling beneath the armpit or around the collarbone.

FOOTBALL: DOOM SEASON For ARSENAL!

A perfect run of games was all that Arsenal needed to, at-least, show their critics that the team is ready for silverware this season. And the campaign has been compared to a fantasy start, though they were defeated in the opening game at home to Aston Villa 1 - 3. But after that loss, the Gunners have racked-up quite reasonable available points in the (English) Premier League and opening games of the Champions League; beating the a team like Napoli was actually a tactical phenomenon considering the sizzling form of italian side at this period. Alas! There was just about some shocking moments still lurking afterwards for Arsenal. And after yesterday's loss 0 - 2 to Mourinho's Chelsea side in the Capital One (League) Cup (goals scored by Cesar Azpilicueta and Juan Mata), it's been confirmed that Arsene Wenger's team really lack the zeal for cup success yet again this season.

The handwriting had been on the wall when they lost their Champions League home game to German club Dortmund 1 - 2, but many of their fans took the defeat with such levity. Now the Gunners have got to wake-up to reality of another agonising season. The (Arsenal) team's exit from the Capital One Cup yesterday, plotted by an impressive display from The Blues, leaves them with the Premier League, FA Cup, and Chmpions League to contend with for now. However, Arsene Wenger himself knows that it's probably the FA Cup that could sincerely be wished-for; even the Arsenal fans doubt their team's capability and mental readiness this season to win either the EPL or UEFA's top Club Competition. To further compound their woes, strong fixtures in the premier league and Champions Leagure are brimming for the Gunners starting this weekend. It's only natural that Arsenal will lose their top spot in the EPL this weekend to compete for their traditional fourth position: a home game against an in-form Liverpool side, an away UCL game against Dortmund next week, and an away game to Manchester United next weekend - all decisive!

Here's 5 REASONS Online (Media) Protest Isn't Any Better!

It is safe to say that protests are inevitable in any society particularly when things are not going too well for majority of the citizens. It's understandable, and such protests are lawful too. Notably, online protests are well acknowledged in developed nations at effecting swift and reliable influence on constitutional decisions by government authorities. However with comparison to similar bigger nations like Nigeria, South Africa, there seem to be unstable struggle to achieving a united objective via social media platforms.

We have noticed some supposed 'influential' online activists spear-heading protests via facebook, twitter, google+; the likes of Seun Fakuade, Japheth Omojuwa, but they have all FAILED CONSIDERABLY to justify the high level of confidence remarked on them. Instead they (online activists) ironically prefer to lip-sing major protests in-order to get public sympathy. The New Media, of which the social media is an integral part, is a proven platform for effective real-time interactions that adequately project the needed impact in smaller communities as well as larger societies. And you might want to ask the question - why are we in thi part of the world not getting the desired results in online public protests? The last noticeable online protest on #NoToChildBride coordinated by Omojuwa and his allies could not even gather a quarter of the estimated 10,000votes in its barely 2weeks of campaign. Moving on, here are just 5 simple reasons why some major social media protests, specifically in Nigeria, aren't creating the needed yields: * Young people (followers) have consistently become gullible; * There's practically no desire for research and/or facts-checking before following such protests; * The decepive syndrome of More (twitter) Followers = Influential Personality; * Selfish interests of some online (social media) activists thus manipulating such protests; * Online activism is increasingly polarised by 'Opportunists' and not true 'Democrats'. DAVIDO Again: Now He Loses On Both Sides!

To lose as a team might not put much pain on just anybody simply because the burden is shared in the team. However it poses very grave consequences when an individual loses, he bears all the pains. This is the situation that Nigeria's pop sensation Davido is going through right now. Just last weekend, news broke-out that Wizkid performed to almost an empty audience at a gig in Abuja. And yesterday the much anticipated "new official" video of hit song 'Skelewu' dropped. But to much dismay, the video didn't live up to its hype at all. Refreshing our memories, last week Davido condemned the supposed video of Skelewu shot by ace director Sesan, describing it "not up to standards" while assuring of a better video to be coordinated by UK based Nigerian director Moe Musa. Very unfortunately, assessing the new 'official' video is nothing but well below standards; even when compared the one directed by Sesan is way better than Moe Musa's. Acknowledging the factors responsible for this unfortunate situation that HKN is deeply immersed in, particularly its hunchman Davido, one major indicator to all these could be tagged as "sheer foolishness of an artiste - the over dependent on money". Yes. Really if it wasn't for the strong financial backup he's enjoying from his rich dad, we wouldn't have given recognition to who Davido is till this moment. No wonder he wasn't mong the 'Top 10 List of Bankable Nigerian Artistes' released by Forbes Africa last month. Clearly Davido has shown how it is true that - though money could motivate but it is not a great influence to achieving genuine creativity. In-born natural talent is obviously different from mere ability. What 'Omo Baba Olowo' should understand is one cannot rubbish the craftwork of a genius and get away with it - it is the law of karma! And I'm sure ace director Sesan would be smiling right now after the ridiculous Skelewu video shot by Moe Musa (a video which couldn't reveal atleast a 45secs of Skelewu dance steps). If I were to anayse the video, it would definitely take a stretch, so I would leave that to you the readers to watch and bear your thoughts on it. BREAKING: DAVIDO Must Be Really Stupid - Insider!

Barely 48hours after the controversial release of Davido's much anticipated video of hit single "Skelewu", the audience are far from being satisfied with the video. Apparently, the public felt the video deserved more creative input than what was portrayed hence the heap of negative comments on social media platform twitter. Discontented with the outpour of unfair comments, Davido swiftly tried to put the issue into perspective by putting some tweets out (which could have been appropriately one by his publicist). In his tweets, he denied any knowledge of the "skelewu" video release as well as the whole creative shoot. What's more, he pointed accusing fingers to an unidentified person who he (Davido) accused of being selfish and impatient to have released the video so sudden unofficially. More shocking is Davido's discreditation of ace video director Sesan who coordinated the video contents. His (Davido's) public ridicule of Sesan is more stupid than seemingly a smart move. For the fact that the released video outlayed the official consent names of HKN, DAVIDO, and SESAN (as Video Director), his statement that the 'official' skelewu video would be done by MOE MUSA not Sesan could be nothing but an unfortunate move. While he thinks he has the cash to doll around, he might just be as foolish as most people perceive. One question that is quite begging for an urgent answer is, was Davido not aware during the video editing that some scenes in the video obvioisly needed more visual stability? Discrediting a video director who has worked with some of the best Nigerian artistes (D'Banj, defunct Mo'Hits crew) isn't a pleasant one after the post-production. While we wait for the supposed "official" video to be directed by Moe Musa, atleast for now the released (or still the leaked) version is not enjoying fans expectation.
