A franchise that has witnessed many and many more people tuning-in everyday once the reality show is on TV screens...the BIG BROTHER AFRICA (BBA) show.
Undoubtedly the reality show, which is produced by a South-African company, has been a "must-watch" for most young people who could really bother on nothing as life's challenges are concerned.
This set of youths seem not interested in the upscale mode of practical human-capacity development but they are lustful for the never ending gists and drama that the BBA show brings.
If not for anything, atleast it's been a major commercial success across the black continent for corporate sponsors and partners responsible for its airing every year.
Let's have your assessment of the BBA reality TV show - has it been a success interms of personal development, or just been the usual commercial success?

How Do You Define VALUE?
Favorable to many is the thought of having something that is just apart from the ordinary norm...not quite the usual expectation that you would crave.
There have been so much buzz about what the Social Media bring-forth and the amazing experience that comes along with its exploitation. But have you even looked at the bigger picture differently? Then you would really appreciate the benefits of the New Media platform.
One major indicator that has aided the evolution & distribution of many services/products is the obvious emphasis of VALUE.
Despite having a product which every other individual or corporate firm has, one would want to ask what sets almost similar products apart from one another...it's simply a five-lettered word » VALUE.

The metropolis and indeed the whole society is agog with thousands and thousands of stories "fly around" every single day...but which ones are you interested in?
Regardless of where the stories happened or came from, it seems the majority of people are just interested in NEGATIVE NEWS leaving-out the positive ones for the minority few. But why this trend you wanna ask?
Well let's put it this way » to a large extent, bad or negative news or info tend to have a lasting impression psychologically than good deeds. As well, people are particularly searching for more than the "ordinary" news, such that come with distracting or conflicting issues about persons or establishments.
Little wonder why most people could easily jump at stories on porn or nudity rather than matters on education.
And for much successful trends, you can't blame an investor at putting an interest in the multi-billion US Dollar worth "Adult Movie" Industry rather than the usual neglected sectors of the economy.
To this, let's know what you think about "Good" and "Bad" News, and which you would rather prefer to read most.

With the self-acclaimed status of "armed forces" availability, Africa's most populous nation yet has its boundaries on constant threat from the minority.
Yes, the minority which offers political & socio-economic threats to some parts of geographic regions within the country - the BOKO HARAM Sect.
What has made many citizens curious about the sincere intentions of Government is the lame excuses with feeble efforts to extinguish such security lapses.
What's even more amusing are reports of foreign aids in military personnel to complement effort of indigenous forces » these have clearly not yielded the needed effects in affected areas.
Rather, the Federal Government had sought to use "propaganda" at announcing (via security forces) capturing/death of influential members of the terrorist-sect every now and then...but the severe killings have not halted a bit.
Supposed aids have been offered by the United Kingdom (UK), Pakistan, and some major European Union (EU) nations to create a counter-reaction to terrorist activites of the Boko-Haram group, BUT all have failed to solve the seemingly simple but complicated situation.
What's your opinion about foreign assistance offered Nigeria to tackle Boko-Haram terrorist group? Do you think the killings in some parts of northern-regions of Nigeria is politically-motivated?

No longer a secret that many more young individuals are on a daily basis being disengaged in the labour market. It is now a case of surviving at the slightest opportunity of getting something doing.
Overall, over 65% of the entire population on the African continent who are within the youths age-bracket are still wondering with high hopes.
But ONE THING is certain » HOPE never fades!
We would like to know, what suggestion could be made an alternative to solve the salient problem of unemployment? This is free for discussion.
