#Retro: A Strong Four-Letter Word...

Such significant is its influence in building a lasting impression. One that produces an ease of mind towards further growth in development.
The most populous nation on the black continent has vividly experienced mixed situations in vas areas of its economy - from Agriculture, Health-Care, Finance to Arts, Transportation, Education, Insurance; much have been exploited.

Many controversies were witnessed over the last 12Months particularly in the Political terrain and Showbiz arena. More observers would want to align with the shift-in-focus from the nation's Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the new mega party All Progressives Congress (APC), whereas for others they simpy dwell on the controversies that cracked-up on the entertainment scene specifically the sudden surge of nudity & pornography being embraced openly by supposed Nigerian celebrities.
Yet every moment was extremly exciting with the increase in use of social media platforms facilitating rapid propagation of such trends.

Another critical sector which beamed major focus in 2013 was Education. For a large part of 2013, Nigerian students were the observers of the tussle between the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal Government over the latter's unfulfiled pledge of the 1999 agreement reached with ASUU. The academic strike was finally suspended in November.

Perhaps all these occurences and more were duly sustained due to a visible stable presence of the four-letter word!

Despite being in a country where... Boko Haram has reiterated its stance as a terror group, our female celebrities take no shame from sharing nude contents with ease, more discredits trail major awards' events due to ceaseless sentiments, continuous modification of the nation's power grid has failed to improve productive supply,... we find solace as often the character of the average Nigerian constantly recognizing the four-letter word!

It's more than 10years now since then popular music artiste Tony Tetuila made the song "E Go Better", but we are anxiously waiting for that day or period that shines the light at the end of the present dark tunnel.

Do you believe in the four-letter word - HOPE?!

#NakedDiary: AFROCANDY Trying Too Hard To Impress!

At an age of over 40years, one would have thought such an individual ought to have the right senses to manage her life appropriately...
Often times we see and observe stories on porn and nudity, but a situation when you don't know the perfect timing to "pull out the plugs" could really prove suicidal!

Yes Afrocandy, after a failed marriage with kids and an uninspiring neglected profession as a nurse, claim to be a singer but we are yet to credibly ascertain her true potentials in music. Virtually all her supposed released songs are either unstable in production or lack creative input. However the most absurd for a woman of over 40years of age is her relentless will of being bent on proving "nuissance from virtually an empty bin".

At one point she tried to cajole people that her facebook accounts have been hacked in-order to create an important profile for herself...on another occasion she claimed her laptop which contain most of her x-rated contents was stolen - most of us knew this was all lies, just a strategy to hype her ridiculous movie tagged "Destructive Instincts" which couldn't even sell 70copies after the release couple of days ago.

Then she came with the latest wand of lies, this time it was claimed by Afrocandy that her account on facebook has been closed down - Woah! Even the craziest porn pages on facebook have bot been closed down not to even talk about her page which is a shy-page for nude contents.
And the simple reason for this was purposely to propagate followership for her newly created online site.

Consequently, the US based porn actress is now frantically competing with another porn model who age is twice equal to Afrocandy's age, in a less favoured manner. The younger porn model named Maheeda (@MaheedaNigeria) seems not concerned with the former's outburst against her chosen activity.

See Maheeda response to Afrocandy's shameful utterances:

"I know some of you just want my attention! You won't get it, but I give some people attention when I'm bored!"

Instead of the porn actress to maybe go back to her modest profession of nursing and take care of her kids, or learn from Hollywood cougars like Jenna Jameson, Pamela Anderson, and the rest on how to build a respectable brand in the adult industry - she's so busy with false hypes, and worse-still she doesn't have a creative and credible management.
In the long term this trend could only lead to ONE destination - SELF DESTRUCTION!

It's better for Afrocandy to think twice now before it's all too late; for the records, her boobs are already sagging and her butts featured with unusual wraps.
Don't take this as a piece against a personality, this is the #NakedDiary where we analyse raw!

#NakedDiary #DareDiva: Is Cossy Orjiakor Still Relevant?!

#NakedDiary #DareDiva

Cossy Orjiakor, Still Relevant?!

A run-off of numerous instances and happenings have noted the unequal or seemingly lame impact of vixen cum singer Cossy Orjiakor, particularly in areas of conscious interests.

Recently there was a tug of war sparked-off between the online music site HipHopWorldMagazine (producers of "The Headies" awards) and the said raunchy vixen. The bone of contention was whether Cossy was even fit any level to be referred to as a mentor or role model, depending on the context.

At one of the openings house get-together of the "The Next Movie Star" reality TV show which its organizers had invited the sexy diva alongside some C-list music artists to come interact with the contestants; many eyebrows were raised on the critieria for selecting the 'diva' famously known for public over-exposure of her huge "milky bags" who clearly has little or nothing to offer creatively.

On #NakedDiary we sought bringing this to focus to ascertain the booby vixen's level of creative credentials.
Is Cossy Orjiakor still relevant to make a positive impact in the lives of innocent minds? It's really a case of a confused mind mentoring a focused mind.

#OFFSIDE: "If Jonathan Has Issues With My Father, He Should Be Bold Enough To Reply Him, Not Me!" - IYABO OBASANJO.

#OFFSIDE: "If Jonathan Has Issues With My Father, He Should Be Bold Enough To Reply Him, Not Me!" - IYABO OBASANJO.

Some days ago witnessed the sudden letter from former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo to Nigeria's president Goodluck Jonathan, spiking the latter on his mismanagement of the nation's trust.
In an interesting twist, this week precisely yesterday highlighted another open letter as published by Vanguard Newspapers Nigeria alledging Obasanjo's daughter Iyabo Obasanjo calling-out her father as a "know-all" egocentric personality. It's quite shocking I know coming from a daughter to her father in te heat of political tensions.

But earlier today it was reported, in a swift reaction to yesterday's allegation of a smack on her father, that Iyabo Obasanjo vocally denied the allegation on one of the Nigeria's radio station Rainbow FM that she never and can never smack her father for whatever reason at all, not even more when it concerns the nation's politics.
Read her full comments below:

"I have never seen or heard this sort of fabrication in my entire life! I, IYABO OBASANJO never contemplate writing a letter to my Loving Father. I speak with him almost on daily bases."
"Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo is the best father in the world. He gave birth to me, he raise me up and gave me the best of Education. I wouldn't have achieved whatever I did without my father.
IN FACT, WHO AM I WITHOUT MY FATHER? As a father he never disappoints his children in any way, he is a father anybody wish to have."

"If President Jonathan wants to reply the letter my father wrote him, he should be man enough to reply direct. Why are they trying to make me a scape goat? I know my father very well and I don't question his judgements, I believe my father wrote his letter in the best interest of the nation."

"If Mr. President disagrees with some of the allegations in the letter, let him be man enough to talk directly to my father, he should stop involving me in an issue I know nothing about. How can you write a letter to insult my father and claim I, the daughter is the source.
If that is how Ijaw people insult their fathers, I am a Yoruba Woman, we respect our parent in all circumstances."

"I IYABO OBASANJO did not write any letter. Nigerians should please take note. The purported letter ('Iyabo Obasanjo replies her father Obasanjo') is a malicious lie intended to rubish the good name of my family. When I get to the source of the letter, I will waste no time to take the necessary legal actions. I love my father and I never disrespects him."

So there you have...the rumour has been cracked, and be sure there's still more to this whole saga!

REPORT: What's The Fuss About Fashion And Slim Models?!

Paying absolute attention to details could be, virtually in most cases, beneficial and seems to avoid unnecessary vacuum for errors. In the creative industry, every individual is quite aware of obvious obligations to stay relevant in a competitive world. And same could be perceived of the modeling sector.

Relatively, the modeling scene is perceived as a platform that engages most persons, aside the acting profession, as either a designer, stylist, costumier, model or photographer; in a synchronized process. With varied vibrant forms, the arena has witnessed a boom (in-terms of personnel and resources) in the last decade, no doubt.

However there is a slight odd though, and it has actually caused a whole lot of buzz in the modeling world: Slim Figure! Yes you heard right, Slim Figure!

Slim figures are obviously not the same as having a ‘Figure 8′. In the real perception, modeling was made famous by its genre of fashion-modeling which has paraded successful celebrities we have around, local and abroad.
But the recent complication in guidelines for recruiting runway models is not really helping the profession which is about to turn its back on other body sizes except for slim girls.

You would want to wonder if the actual definition of runway models lies in skinny shapes only [no disrespect to slim ladies]. This is arguable to a large extent.

Hopefully we do have damsels who are bold, beautiful, creative, and are not necessarily slim to have engaged in this lucrative form of modeling. A common saying that “Being Bold, Big, Beautiful are features of the average African Queen” is quite true and relevant; every model irrespective of shape or size should be proud of her natural beauty and dimension. Thank God we now have versions of runway show for other body sizes too, so it's not only dedicated to the slim shapes alone - others are revelant as well.

If you have got the 'figure 8' or 'plump' shape, then why not flaunt your true potentials rather than forcefully freaking-out under the disguise of getting skinny and trendy. Just pause a moment and ponder on this.

WORST TOP 5 For 2013: They Are Pretty But Their Songs Are Wack!

Nigeria's WORST TOP 5 Female MCs/Artistes For 2013

For the last couple of weeks to the year end 2013, CriticalBlog shall be presenting a run-up of genuine official charts & lists spanning major areas of exploits in the creative, social, political, business, and education sectors across the nation, continent, and the world over.

The official lists/charts are generated by open public votes & opinions as well as observations by reputable critics in related sectors. This makes the presentaion more credible without sentiments or favour.

For today, we beam our analysis on the music industry in Nigeria with regards to existing & new female music artistes rocking the airwaves. The artistes on this list have unfortunately not lived-up to expectations within the last 6months or more despite promo-hype and virtual corporate acknowlegment.

While we notably agree though that the music scene particularly in Nigeria has witnessed some real evolution of more creativity into the art, others could be tagged as "flop" of the moment.
Interestingly these female artistes possess the beauty and probably a little bit of charm, but we all know the music business is much more complex than just being a "pretty face" - it has to be all-inclusive i.e. Beautiful face, great talent, creative genuinety, potential brand, to mention but a few.

Now to the revelation, as compiled by worthy music critics and public opinions, here's the official list for WORST TOP 5 Nigerian FEMALE ARTISTES for 2013 in no particular order:

* Cynthia Morgan

* Lola Rae

* Tonto Dikeh

* Mo'Cheddah

* Sasha P

Let's know what you about the individual artistes on this list.

REPORT: "Go And Die With The #SocialMedia Bill" - KEMI OLUNLOYO Blasts!

On the recent drama radiating around the Nigerian Senate and the National Assembly about the claim that a bill is being sponsored on the floor of the Nigerian senate which could make it criticisms via the social media against Government henceforth illegal, one of Nigeria's notorious female online activists who's the daughter of former Oyo State governor Ms Kemi Olunloyo aka "Dr KOO" has lambasted the senate for a wrong move taken as it were. Her brief is presented below:

  • Nigeria once has a darling leader and yes he was a darling because he was good for one thing. Silencing free speech, locking up Journalists and basically taking away people's HUMAN RIGHTS. General Sanni Abacha was the nonentity that cost me my commonwealth status in the UK and now my visa to go over there even with a US green card is N120,00.
I once fled to Canada on a 5 year temporary asylum after violence on media houses during the 2007 election, and so did leaders like Bola Tinubu and many others in NADECO who are big time APC leaders today. Now word comes that an APC Senator wants to sponsor a bill which will nicely bring our Senators together and silence our FREEDOM of speech and expression on social media.
This Social Media bill aims to lock critics up, but its not critics of Pastors, Nigerian masses, Religion, Prostitutes, tribes or any other in the list of things I already rip on social media in this country daily. It is specially and conveniently targeted to critics of the government. The Social media bill attempts to put us in jail for 7 years. What happens to us after the seven years and we criticize you again?
The Wall street Journal reported in 2011 that President Jonathan's win was largely powered by social media. Politicians want us to use social media to vote them in but not to discuss about them? There are far more issues today in Nigeria than 10 years ago.

I get delivery of water to my house because I don't have a bore hole yet in my temporary residence. The Water Corporation did not show up for two weeks and the private company also failed to show up leading me to call yet another tanker company for an N8000 delivery of water for my weekly household use. During that two weeks, I ended up doing what our university girls do in the hostels. I actually bathe with an N80 bag of Pure Water sachets which my son emptied in the bucket one by one. That was insanity in the first degree. That was just to avoid going to the stream behind my apartment.

Buy my dad is a high ranking politician my friend said. What does that have to do with anything? Water is a basic human right and every Nigerian has the right to it. Social Media is also a basic human right, so don't try to twist the 199 constitution in our faces. So if I write such a story of my experience on social media ripping the government all the way from local, to national on my lack of water, I am eligible to spend time in jail? I'm going hard on you.
Well then, lets bring back a dictatorship and you will see me join the military soon as I will be part of that government by FORCE! You cannot silence anyone on social media! We know the government is targeting Journalists and then ordinary citizens. Well, wait a minute, Pastors, Doctors and business men also target the government. Even Femi Fani-Kayode a former government official and politician who silences his critics is a critic himself and may be locked up too. Seun Kuti, JJ Omojuwa, Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo, FFK and even my arch enemy Kayode Ogundamisi are all eligible for some 7 year itch.

Prepare the cells because the criticisms just began. Mighty Joe the armed robber was executed by the government 40 years ago in June 1973 for stealing like N10 or so and a few other armed robbery kings like Oyenusi. These days, our politicians are stealing BILLIONS. Can we get the firing squad at Bar Beach back? We are going after you more than ever.
I am UNTOUCHABLE and to that I tell our Senators to Go and Die. If anyone bothers me, they may well be having a reunion dinner upstairs with Abacha tonight, the King of them all when it comes to killing free speech. Shout out to my mentor Journalism Senator Chris Anyanwu of Imo state. She's not going to vote for that mess I bet you.

"Kemi is an independent-minded person and she is not the kind of person you can suppress. She believes what she believes. Some of them may be wrong in other people’s system." Victor Omololu Olunloyo my father said in the Punch Newspapers 11/30/13. The Nigerian mind is independent and social media will stay that way! Independent! Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo Pharm.D is an International Journalist, Clinical and Research Pharmacist and Social Media and PR Expert. She is also the News Director and Creator of HNN Africa.

REPORT: OLUSEGUN OBASANJO's Open Letter To Nigeria's President GOODLUCK JONATHAN.

The full 18-page letter presented thus:

I am constrained to make this an open letter to you for a number of reasons.
One, the current situation and consequent possible outcome dictate that I should, before the door closes on reason and promotion of national interest, alert you to the danger that may be lurking in the corner. Two, none of the four or more letters that I have written to you in the past two years or so has elicited an acknowledgment or any response.

Three, people close to you, if not yourself, have been asking, what does Obasanjo want? Four, I could sense a semblance between the situation that we are gradually getting into and the situation we fell into as a nation during the Abacha era. Five, everything must be done to guard, protect and defend our fledgling democracy, nourish it and prevent bloodshed. Six, we must move away from advertently or inadvertently dividing the country along weak seams of North-South and Christian-Moslem. Seven, nothing should be done to allow the country to degenerate into economic dormancy, stagnation or retrogression.

Eight, some of our international friends and development partners are genuinely worried about signs and signals that are coming out of Nigeria. Nine, Nigeria should be in a position to take advantage of the present favourable international interest to invest in Africa - an opportunity that will not be open for too long. Ten, I am concerned about your legacy and your climb-down which you alone can best be the manager of, whenever you so decide.

Mr. President, you have on a number of occasions acknowledged the role God enabled me to play in your ascension to power. You put me third after God and your parents among those that have impacted most on your life. I have always retorted that God only put you where you are and those that could be regarded as having played a role were only instruments of God to achieve God's purpose in your life. For me, I believe that politically, it was in the best interest of Nigeria that you, a Nigerian from minority group in the South, could rise to the highest pinnacle of political leadership. If Obasanjo could get there, Yar'Adua could get there and Jonathan can get there, any Nigerian can. It is now not a matter of the turn of any section or geographical area but the best interest of Nigeria and all Nigerians.

It has been proved that no group - ethnic, linguistic, religious or geographical location - has monopoly of materials for leadership of our country. And no group solely by itself can crown any of its members the Nigerian CEO. It is good for Nigeria.

A Major SetBack For Kim Kardashian?!

Many times there are things that necessarily do pass with time, not making much noise maybe due to the level of reception of such thing or kind of personality involved. And you sure knows when it's got to do with any of the Kardashians particularly the lady of attraction Kim Kardashian, then we've got a big news people.

Recently, the TV reality star was forced to make an explanation on her 'hidden agenda' at making public donations on eBay. This has really summoned the receptive buds of not only her critics but everyone who cares to know what could be her innermost in the disguise of donating to charities.
Well, the key observation here is her constructive response to criticism and not overly reacting in a status of famous celebrity that she is.

Read Kim's explanation on the allegation of insincere motive of donations against her, below:

I feel compelled to speak about something that is in my head and my heart. Over the years, I’ve had to grow a thick skin. Being in the public eye, there are times I feel like I get criticized for any and everything I do. I’m used to it now. I just choose not to feed into negativity or become consumed by it.

The problem comes in when I get attacked for giving and trying to help people.
My dad always taught me the importance of giving back. I don’t publicize everything I do to help charities and people all over the world. I do it because I want to. I do it because my dad taught me to. I do it because it’s the right thing to do. So for people to attack me for giving 10% of my eBay auction sales to the people of the Philippines, that hurts.

I do eBay auctions monthly and change the charity or church from time to time. I give 10% of all my earnings to charities, not just these eBay auctions. This month it’s for the people of the Philippines, last month was Life Change Community Church.

In regards to these eBay auctions, when the eBay numbers get broken down, the auction management agency that posts for me gets a percentage for all of their hard work, then eBay listing fees, end of auction fees, eBay Store fees, Paypal fees, etc., all add up to about half of the sale. Then I give 10% to a charity.

Truth is how the population is broken down, is neither here nor there. The people of the Philippines need all of our help, no matter how big or small.
Over the last 5+ years, I have listed thousands of items on eBay Giving Works for various causes. I will continue to do what is in my heart and am happy to know many others have enjoyed purchasing from me, as they too are giving with me.

Giving comes from the heart. We all need to be reminded of this as we celebrate the holiday season this year.

Do you agree with her revelation?

#OFFSIDE: "MANDELA Isn't Big Enough A Personality Than Me" - Kanye West.

One of America’s most controversial rapper, Kanye West, is at it again.

West, who is known to be notoriously self-promoting, made a statement many may consider ridiculous during a recent interview on WGCI radio in Chicago, Illinois. He said the death of  the former South African leader, Nelson Mandela, will finally allow people to focus more of their attention on his own accomplishments.

His visit to the radio station was to promote his new music video, "Bound 2", which features his fiancee and ‘baby mama’, Kim Kardashian. However, the conversation switched to the issue of Nelson Mandela’s death and West was asked who he thought in the world today could possibly replace Mandela in terms of leadership. His response left everyone speechless.

In his words, “I am the next Mandela. I’m only 36 years old, and when I look at everything I’ve accomplished, it’s the only comparison that makes any sense. By the time I’m 95, I’m going to be a bigger hero than he ever was.”“Nelson Mandela did a lot of good work, don’t get me wrong. But I think I’m on track to do something even bigger. I liberate minds with my music. That’s more important than liberating a few people from apartheid or whatever."

"Not to say Mandela wasn’t for real. I have mad respect. I just think we need to keep things in perspective here. Anyone can be replaced. And I think I’m well on my way towards being the next great black leader. I’m already worshiped around the world. And there’s more to come.”

Now what do you think of this revelation from controversial rapper Kanye West, is he justified or just seeking a distraction from his current troubled personality?
You be the judge, have your say.

REPORT: A Stern Advice To Runaway Nigerian Rapper eLDee.

Ordinarily there shouldn't have been any reason for this piece. But a certain need to inform some novice among Nigerian music artistes who seem to have lost their reasoning in moments uder pressure.

The Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON) and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (IBAN) couple of days ago jointly issued a press release ascertaining the ban of (music) content airplay of Niger music artistes who are registered under the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) imprint. The reason was highlighted that COSON is keen o harassing BON/IBAN member (radio/TV) stations on forceful payments of unjustified and uncontitutional fees as royalties for usage of music contents of Nierian artistes.
Although there had been mixed reactions towards the shocking declaration by the broadcast media to seize airplay of indigenous music contents, there seem to be a progressive trend of dialogue between the BON/IBAN and COSON mediated by NBC and PMAN to find a suitable pact to end the evolving crisis.

However, a particular statement credited to runaway rapper now turned singer Lanre Dabiri popularly known "eLDee", to a very large extent, really made a whole mess to the entire situation. And a testimony to the fact that some artistes just "talk careless before reasoning". Less than 48hours when the purported ban on most Nigerian music artistes had been sanctioned by BON/IBAN, our dear rapper-turn-singer eLDee wrote on twitter, thus:

Even the average illiterate Nigerian cannot ridicule the transmission strength of radio media, not to even talk of the TV broadcast. ELDee seem to depend so much on social media platforms, but he has forgotten that the most active social media networks could only boast of over a one-third of the entire audience in a typical age-distributive society.

And probably due to the nature that it doesn't cost an 'arm & leg' to get access to a radio content unlike the weekly or monthly subscriptions to get access to the internet; traditional or contemporary, modern or technological improvement, no matter how it is presented - radio media will always have more audience and followership than the SM avenues.

Or maybe he has also failed to realise that the affected banned Nigerian artistes stand to lose the unlimited privileges of song/album reviews, promotional interviews, endorsement opportunities (which I don't think he understands because he has none), exclusive media coverage, and lots of other benefits that the radio provides on free-to-air basis, same with the terrestial TV media.

No doubt, if the present ban should be adherred-to in its entirety even with the presence of social media, I stand to be corrected that Nigerian artistes would be the ones at a major loss and not the broadcast stations.

Can't figure-out what exactly eLDee would want to prove - no thriving artiste on Tribes Records, admire his courage though, still keeping the vision of the music label. Unfortunately, we can only look at what the relevant artistes would certainly lose from the unfortunate ban when it finally takes its full effects.

What Has Africa Gained From Social Media?!

SOCIAL MEDIA: The African Impact.

Resources abound but without essential and effective management of such, then just little could be accomplished or achieved. The world is perceived as a global village with the existence of software technologies and interconnectivity among diverse regions and continents, and the breakthrough of Social Media in this era has proved more beneficial to emerging enterprises.

Much have been observed in corporate business, with huge portfolios and stakes getting higher, while the returns seem assuring and secured. As well, there have been admirable clamour to encouraging the nurture and growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs); it’s not been a ‘bad-run’ though, on the bright side, aspiring young entrepreneurs are spurred-on by current trends offered by the Social Media which constitutes a significant part of the New Media experience. Cognizance of its advantageous status in population, Africa is a safe haven for financial investments, when compared with the rest continents. And nations like Nigeria, South Africa, and Egypt, have so far influenced meaningful integration of SM to facilitating the development and sustenance of small businesses, which ordinarily could prove ‘problematic’ via contemporary measures.

Renowned economist who also doubles as the Vice President of the SMEs Secretariat Forum Professor Pat Utomi recently, at the maiden SME breakfast session organized by a consulting firm, tasked small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on the need to be creative in their business processes. He described the SMEs thus as, “the backbone of any economy and key source of economic growth, dynamism, and flexibility.” ‘One-Man’ business is contemporary with mostly Artisans, but of course this type of business is now evident in the creative sector.

Due to widely recognized gestures offered by SM networks, more and more creative entrepreneurs in Design, Architecture, Advertising, Music, Arts/Craft, Film/Videos, Radio/TV, Press, have found it easier and more strategic to engage a small scale business efficiently. Media networks such as facebook, twitter, blog, linkedin, have aided to re-strategizing potentials and prospects of the SMEs.

Two objective features should however, be noted here: [1] Product and/or Service Brand; and [2] Prospect for Long-Term. The Social Media not only provides effective management of existing features of entrepreneurship, but also sustaining its potential expansion into bigger ventures. In a related path, a budding fashion stylist/ make-up artist in Nigeria’s economic capital city of Lagos attests to the viable options SM portends to aiding small businesses.

Pointing out the possible odds, CEO of fashion house & beauty outfit FHM Ms Abimbola Alimi relayed the distinguishing factors of inadequate funds as well as medium/long-term feasibility as obstacles still rattling SMEs. Her assertion was revealed at an interaction with independent campus press XDOCH Media: “It was hard for me financially when I started this venture as a stylist, but it’s been about two years now and some great deal of patronage and monetary gains have being observed.
Major part of the ‘bail-out’ has surely being due to my interactive platform on twitter and facebook.” She continued, “Do visit my facebook page ‘Abimbola Alimi FashionHouseMakeOva’ or follow me on twitter [@fashionhouseFHM] and see how it’s been amazing.”

According to Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) at the end of 2011 - In Ghana, SMEs account for70% of its GDP and 92% of its businesses; In South Africa SMEs accumulate 91% of formalized businesses; while they account for 70% of its businesses in Nigeria. These statistics genuinely show the enviable influence of SM to improving the business infrastructure in Africa, thus impacting positively on the economy.
It could only get better.

READERS MAIL: R.I.P NELSON MANDELA: Nigerians Are Confused. Why?!

The news of the Madiba's death broke-out yesterday night and it was all over the news channels all around the world. And trust Nigerians, they are really showing how gullible they are interms of historical developments.

Most Nigerians are merely putting-up the Madiba's death not for anything but mere virtual "30seconds" recognition online. Most bloggers don't even know what Nelson Mandela represents in his lifetime...the legacy he stood for...his impact for freedom in Africa!

Still laughing at the BCs rolling-in this morning, gazing at the hilarious ones and even some disgusting messages ofwhich compares the greatness of Madiba with a corrupt Nigerian leader like Olusegun Obasanjo...trully shameful thoughts.

But Nigerians are known for show-offs particularly with online buzz, however not minding to show the whole world how dumb-founded most of their thoughts are.
Well, we are already familiar with ourselves here, but how do you think the foreign media would assess your comments?

Unless you know some bits about the late Nelson Mandela, don't even bother to do the "copy & paste" via BlackBerry Broadcasts or on your blogs...honour the great South African Legend with what you know about him and his achievements!
Enough of the confused thoughts from Nigerians...

A Special Tribute To A Great African Visionary, Iconic Madiba - Rest In Peace NELSON MANDELA [1918 - 2013].

From a concerned Nigerian.

#OFFSIDE: Abuse Nigerian Government And Get 7Years Jail Term!

Not a very pleasnat time for the All Progressives Congress (APC) party, at least at this moment. Just last week, one of the sitting governors made a ridicule of a widow who had initially pleaded for mercy for violating one of the State Government's policies on welfare and discipline. Though the Governor had settled "out of court" with the affected widow after the incident.

But this week, it is the turn of a senator from same APC party who is keen to sponsoring a bill, at the national assembly, which would obviously make criticism of malicius activities of Nigerian Government a crime on social media platforms.
The senator is said to be so adamant of presenting the bill for reading and appropriate passage into an act.
In his view, criticising the nation's government at any level via social media is seen as a sabotage and crime, and in effect should be met by a punishment of 7years jail term for any SM critic.

However, let's assume the bill finally passes into an act by the senate thus denying many young Nigerians the right to speak-up against bad governance - would the act be justified as appropriate in the end? Do you think the act is needed to protect the nation's image from negative media perception of the foreign world?
