REPORT: What's The Fuss About Fashion And Slim Models?!

Paying absolute attention to details could be, virtually in most cases, beneficial and seems to avoid unnecessary vacuum for errors. In the creative industry, every individual is quite aware of obvious obligations to stay relevant in a competitive world. And same could be perceived of the modeling sector.

Relatively, the modeling scene is perceived as a platform that engages most persons, aside the acting profession, as either a designer, stylist, costumier, model or photographer; in a synchronized process. With varied vibrant forms, the arena has witnessed a boom (in-terms of personnel and resources) in the last decade, no doubt.

However there is a slight odd though, and it has actually caused a whole lot of buzz in the modeling world: Slim Figure! Yes you heard right, Slim Figure!

Slim figures are obviously not the same as having a ‘Figure 8′. In the real perception, modeling was made famous by its genre of fashion-modeling which has paraded successful celebrities we have around, local and abroad.
But the recent complication in guidelines for recruiting runway models is not really helping the profession which is about to turn its back on other body sizes except for slim girls.

You would want to wonder if the actual definition of runway models lies in skinny shapes only [no disrespect to slim ladies]. This is arguable to a large extent.

Hopefully we do have damsels who are bold, beautiful, creative, and are not necessarily slim to have engaged in this lucrative form of modeling. A common saying that “Being Bold, Big, Beautiful are features of the average African Queen” is quite true and relevant; every model irrespective of shape or size should be proud of her natural beauty and dimension. Thank God we now have versions of runway show for other body sizes too, so it's not only dedicated to the slim shapes alone - others are revelant as well.

If you have got the 'figure 8' or 'plump' shape, then why not flaunt your true potentials rather than forcefully freaking-out under the disguise of getting skinny and trendy. Just pause a moment and ponder on this.
